This month we’d like to highlight one of our legends, who just turned 85 a few days ago and can look back on an amazing career! Starting off his journey as a jazz musician and arranger, Quincy Jones pretty quickly discovered, that his talent reached far beyond being an outstanding musician. He also had an unerring eye for upcoming artists and therefore wrote songs with and for Ray Charles, Count Basie, Frank Sinatra, Donna Summer and many more. He produced three of Michael Jacksons’ albums as well as the 1985 charity single “We Are The World”. 28 Grammys later, he’s still planning new projects like a Netflix documentary and an Oprah Winfrey-hosted CBS special. Enjoy his amazing music and feel free to contact us for licensing one of his iconic songs.
