Artist Spotlight: Corinne Bailey Rae

In advance of some very special live performances over the summer Kobalt shines a light on Corinne Bailey Rae
A two time MOBO and GRAMMY winner and nominated for a Mercury Prize, Ivor Novellos, MTV, BET and countless other awards over two decades.
Since she first burst onto the scene with the evergreen hits “Like a Star” and “Put Your Record On” she has continued to record, collaborate and tour.
She has covered Joni Mitchell’s “River” for the Grammy winning Joni Letters album, won another Grammy for her cover of Bob Marley’s “Is This Love” for best R&B Vocal performance.

Her cover of  Coldplay’s The Scientist featured in Fifty Shades of Grey and Stan Lee approached her to create the Lucky Man Theme song. Her songs have been sampled too many times to mention.

Corinne will be supporting Stevie Wonder in Hyde Park this summer and opening for Lenny Kravitz at the O2. She will also perform live, from Tokyo to Rio and Bath to Barcelona via a run of US shows.

We are proud to look after her catalogue of incredible songs and it’s worth noting that Corinne is also very open to bespoke work for Film, TV and Ads.
